A week later and with the help of Dean ‘I love digging holes’ Firth we are now off the starting blocks.

We got four palettes from the art supplier just round the corner to make our compost and used an old blind to bind it together and fill in the holes:

Downstairs were throwing out a bin and we dug a hole to sink it into the ground – this is going to be the start of our pond hopefully!

Oh, and Claudia found a grape vine which was pretty cool and unexpected.

Cool —our compost bins are made with a pallet. We are in the process of constructing bins at the local school as well.
